Seven Steps to Building a Life of Faith, Purpose & Adventure
1. Love God First
Scripture:
“Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.” — Matthew 22:37
What We Do:
We encourage every camper to develop a personal relationship with God through prayer, Bible study, worship, and learning to trust Him in every area of life.
2. Love Others Through Service
Scripture:
“Love your neighbor as yourself.” — Matthew 22:39
What We Do:
We teach campers to serve others with kindness, compassion, humility, and generosity by helping families, communities, churches, and those in need.
3. Discover God’s Purpose for Your Life
Scripture:
“Where there is no vision, the people perish.” — Proverbs 29:18
What We Do:
We help young people discover their God-given gifts, talents, and purpose so they can live meaningful lives that positively impact their families, communities, and the world.
4. Embrace God’s Great Adventure
Scripture:
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart… and He shall direct your paths.” — Proverbs 3:5–6
What We Do:
Through outdoor adventures, hiking, camping, leadership challenges, missions, sports, and exploration, campers learn courage, confidence, teamwork, perseverance, and faith.
5. Be Good Stewards of God’s Creation
Scripture:
“The earth is the Lord’s, and everything in it.” — Psalm 24:1
What We Do:
We teach campers to appreciate and protect God’s creation—including forests, mountains, rivers, lakes, oceans, wildlife, plants, and natural resources—while learning outdoor skills and environmental stewardship.
6. Care for Those in Need
Scripture:
“Whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.” — Matthew 25:40
What We Do:
We partner with churches, medical professionals, nonprofits, and volunteers to provide food, clothing, medical care, disaster relief, and other practical assistance to widows, single mothers, children, the elderly, the homeless, and families in need.
7. Build Hope for Future Generations
Scripture:
“Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.” — Galatians 6:2
What We Do:
We help build, repair, and restore homes, cabins, schools, churches, camps, and community facilities while equipping future generations to become servant leaders who strengthen families, communities, and nations.
